Hello to all OPS families!
I am pleased to be back at Osgoode Public School, working with our team of educators and support staff this year. This year we have 279 students in kindergarten to grade 6. Our students are in 14 homerooms - three JK/SK combined kindergartens, four English classes, and seven Early French Immersion classes.
We have a dynamic staff who give careful thought on how to support students every day, looking for strengths and encouraging everyone to put in their best effort always. We believe that students should all feel included and valued. We want students to develop a 'growth mindset' that helps them all see the value in making mistakes so that the learning can continue. Being kind and considerate to one another, seeing the best in others, working through problems positively, and seeking help when they need it - this is the community we are growing at Osgoode PS.
We are grateful to our students for their resilience and cooperation through these changing times. We are grateful to our families for their ongoing support and partnership.
